Shows in Slovakia confirmed for July 2007 / 11. 4. 2007
This Summer we will head east towards Slovak Republic as we have a couple of shows to perform. Our first show will take place in Bratislava, on an all-day festival Black Fest 2007, on 6th of July. A day after, July 7, we will perform at another Extreme Metal festival, Metal Day Open 2007 in Radola. On both festivals we will share the stage as one of the headlining bands.

A short "Deliverance..." studio/filming report / 8. 4. 2007
We are working hard on making our next opus complete. Most of the audio material has already been recorded, while we are halfway done with the video work.
Last week Artur and our permanent collaborator Andraž Sedmak went up to the skies to do some aerial footage for our "The Deliverance of the Fall" film.

Mr. Walzenstein of this German online mag wrote some terribly good words on behalf of our debut album. Such as:

New Dekadent album title revealed / 9. 3. 2007
We are now revealing the title of the next Dekadent opus, that is planned to be released in the second half of the year 2007. "The Deliverance of the Fall" is the name of our next album, an exceptional audio/visual black metal epic.
The recording part of the new album is in progress, while the filming is taking it's part at the same time. We already have some things sent to production and a brand new teaser is about to be released just now. Stay tuned for a first sneak preview in the next coming days.

Premiere successful! / 24. 2. 2007
On February the 15th, we presented most of the material from our debut album for the first time in front of an impatient audience. Thank you all for showing up at the venue that night. You proved the point that this is worth doing it! We also extend our gratitude toward our comrades from Sinbolic and Maleficus Angelus - Thank you guys!
So, our first official gig is behind us, on to the new challenges. We will hit more dates in the next coming months, starting with a few more local shows. After that, the time will come to meet our eager fans abroad. See you soon!

A new grand oeuvre in the making / 24. 12. 2006
We are now officially revealing the news about the upcoming Dekadent masterpiece. In cooperation with Academy of Fine Arts & Design and several video/film associations and concerns, Dekadent will be producing a musical film. It will be a lengthy video for the new Dekadent track (yet untitled), a Black Metal opus featuring special guests from the Slovenian Philharmonic Orchestra and new vocal contributors, as well as the current line up performing on the album.

Artur is currently working on the orchestration, while some of the guitar parts have already been recorded. The soundtrack will be fully recorded before the end of January as the film making is scheduled to begin on February. Hopefully, the entire work will be wrapped up before summer 2007.

Yes, we have officially completed our new video. We are absolutely thrilled by it's visual strength, atmosphere and quality. The video will be premiered tomorrow at 13.00 at the central movie theater Kino Klub Vic in Ljubljana, i.e., for production and education related personnel only.
Public broadcasting is being scheduled for the time of the album release this Summer.

Video report / 7. 4. 2006
This week we finished shooting the material for "Dissident Dream" video. Everything went quite well and we are very satisfied with the job the whole team has done. And at this point Dekadent would like to thank KSOK, Academy of Fine Arts Ljubljana, and all the collaborators that helped us within the process of creating our new video.
Right now Dekadent Design Department is handling the mix and post-production of the footage, working really hard to finish before the deadline, which is on 5th of May.

New video / 25. 3. 2006
It is finally safe to say, that we are about to make our second video. We decided to make a video for the track "Dissident Dream". The band and the whole camera crew are ready to begin with shooting at the end of this week. The video will be shot abroad, in the coastline atmosphere. And it is really going to be something. But, that's all we can say for now.

Finally, managed to set up our new official home page. We have also added a few extra categories and will try to keep them as fresh as possible. The Merchandise is not working yet, but we will keep you posted as soon as we get the material done.
Probably, we will create a couple of new categories in the future, but this is all we could do at the moment. We are very busy making a new promotional campaign for "Manifestation of Seasonal Bleeding". More on that in the next couple of days.

With the burial of Vigred, we will also replace our internet home. At the moment, Dekadent Design Department is still dealing with new visual identity. It might take a week or two, before we will publish the new official Dekadent website. Also, there is a lot of interesting things going on right now, but we will come out with details a bit later. Vigred is no more / 13. 2. 2006
No, the band did not split! We had finally come to an end with our decision of renaming the band. The new name is Dekadent.We decided to rename the band, because we are about to make our first major step abroad and want it to be a bit more universal. More about that in the next few days.

It is a true pleasure to announce that Vigred got a new drummer. His name is Andraz Krpic and has been a fellow musician for years. Andraz was asked to join Vigred for recording of the new material. The new Vigred material is at the end of the writing process and the recording of the new single is scheduled to begin in December. It has also been decided that a new video will be shot as soon as the recording is done. Also, a note about "Manifestation..." promos.
